today's been a pretty crazy day.

we were summoned by Lola to the hospital at 1 AM. our aunts said she's asking for everyone, so everyone aside from our relatives in Laguna were there with her from 1 to 5 in the morning. it was a rollercoaster ride, really, since at first, I was all stressed out and scared shitless for my Lola -- and it was a bit emotional when we got there -- but when more people started arriving, especially when my crazy aunts and uncle were together, the atmosphere eventually became relaxed. it amazes me how my relatives could manage to laugh at the silliest and most morbid things in that situation, but that's exactly why I love them. :)

some of us went home at 5 to get some sleep, saying that they could just call us if they need us to go back. I set my alarm for 7:30 because I wanted to order breakfast, but Ate Julie ended up having to wake me up before 10, saying that Lola's asking for us again, this time to say goodbye. I was really freaked out on our way to the hospital, and when we got to her room, everyone was there, and some were already tearing up. Lola was evidently weaker than when we last saw her -- she was really chatty when we came to see her after midnight -- and I didn't know how to react.

her doctor arrived a little later, did some things to her, then said that she had to be moved to the ICU so she could be taken care of better. again, it kind of amused me how, after that, we were all inside her hospital room, talking and eating and thinking of what to order from Jollibee -- and they made me call. O_O

some of us went back home to shower and get some sleep. the adults didn't go to work anymore. idk if our reactions were normal, but I just really find it somehow amazing how my Lola was able to get everyone together in one place -- my aunts who work/live abroad are here, and all my other aunts and uncles live quite near, but it's been years since they've been here all at the same time. it also amuses me how my whoooole family just couldn't resist being their silly selves, laughing loudly at anything and everything all the time. it's insane. XD

so I'm still really cranky. I've slept a few hours this afternoon, but I still want more. oh, and I made two bitches batches of rice krispies earlier! I'm almost done eating one batch. ._.

swimming thing with 4D on Friday. I wanna go so, so badly. ;_;

edit: HOLY CRAP I TOTALLY FORGOT TO MENTION! one of my uncles speaks Korean. he learned from an audio instruction thing. he asked me earlier if I was learning Korean and I said not really but I was trying, and then he started talking to me. bahaha! I could only pick apart a few words, but it was pretty cool. at least someone understands my interest. XD
